Auto Racing Featured Karting Oval — 02 January 2013

Even though it was New Years Eve, it didn’t stop 37 champ kart competitors from trying to qualify for the main event.  The 5th Annual Coffee Cup drew a huge crowd and is one of the most prestigious races in the North East to win, bringing out the best of the best in karting competition.

Justin Bonsignore set fast time, but after the top ten had a redraw Brandon Ruscezk grabs the pole with Evan Beaulieu sitting outside pole of the 24 kart field. After multiple cautions and some fierce action up front it was Cody Sieber taking the checkers after starting in the 7th, collecting $500 and his first coffee cup.  Danny Bouc was second with Ruscezk rounding out the podium in third.
